Aftab Khan is the Senior Vice President of Engineering for Eversource Energy.  He is responsible for leading the Engineering organization across Eversource’s service territory in Connecticut, Massachusetts and New Hampshire.  This includes system planning, design, standards, and engineering support for the Transmission & Distribution system.

Previously, Aftab has held various leadership roles with GE and ABB.   He was most recently the North America region leader for GE Grid Solutions (T&D).  While with ABB he has led various regional businesses including the Substations, FACTS, HVDC, Circuit Breaker, and Transformer businesses.

Aftab holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Alaska, a Master’s Degree in Electric Power Engineering from Rennselaer Polytechnic Institute and an MBA from Carnegie Mellon University.
