Eric Bradley leads the Distributed Energy division of Shell New Energies and is responsible for growing its global offering of customer-sited solutions to offer clean, resilient and distributed energy for commercial, industrial and community/city clients. His team works closely with Shell’s other affiliates in energy trading and marketing, energy retail, distributed storage and mobility.
Prior to Shell, Mr. Bradley was Senior Vice President for Engie/GDF Suez in North America, where he was responsible for strategy, government & regulatory affairs and new business ventures for Engie’s services businesses, electricity retail businesses, natural gas infrastructure, and centralized power plants in the United States and Canada. In that role, Mr. Bradley helped transition Engie from its traditional business in centralized generation towards businesses in distributed generation, energy storage and renewables. He also supported new business incubation and partnerships for the retail, power and gas businesses in the United States, and established their solutions business to commercial and industrial clients.
Prior to joining Engie/GDF Suez, Mr. Bradley held leadership roles at Reliant Energy, running portions of the residential, and small commercial and industrial retail electricity business. He has also worked with companies across the energy complex, as a consultant with Arthur D. Little and McKinsey & Co. He began his career as an engineer with Exxon.
